The new CryoTEM and EM project initially required the design team to review three independent locations and produce a detailed feasibility report identifying the advantages and disadvantages of each space along with a high level order of cost estimate for each location.
The client and project team then reviewed this study and a location was selected. The area is large enough to house the currently purchased TEM machine and leave enough space and service provision for a future EM machine.
